facial cleanser for little girls

I only started using md clear exfoliating & cleansing scrub when I began getting breakouts. How about you - when did you start using facial cleansers for your face? Before, when I was a kid, it was just the Johnson&Johnson baby soap that my mom buys. I remembered using the shampoo and the soap.

Naturally, for my girls, I used the same. Well, not exactly the same but the lazy version of Pureen Head to Toe liquid wash so I don't have to buy them separately or have the soap place separately. I would buy a big tube and I can use it for both the girls..heheh...Technically, I shouldn't use it on Mini cos she has pretty sensitive skin and is prone to getting eczemas at the creases of her arm. Luckily they are mild and will quickly disappear after dabbing on fish oil. I'm not sure why but those things really works. It can get messy but it works.

Anyway, before digressing, do you use special cleansers on your kids' face? What type of shower products do you use on your kids?

no i dont use special facial cleansers on the kids..although i have thought of it though......
I try to use as little shampoo and soap on their skin...though...and am gonna finish their current shower gel and start them on organic ones.....and i recently bought burt's bees shampoo for them so gonna try those once their J&J ones are finished. Surprising at it seems, although J&J are for babies, they have chemicals in them like pthalates (commonly known as Fragrance) and parabens. - you can read more about it here - http://soapchix.wordpress.com/2008/02/20/whats-the-difference-between-phthalates-and-parabens/

I've heard of Burt's bees but, haven't tried them. Let me know how it feels or rather, how your kids are taking it because u know, after reading the link - gives me the chills. To think that these products are meant for babies or kids...the manufacturers should've known better isn't it?..hmm..

J&J products are not as great as it's supposed to be. No special facial stuff on my kids, they too are prone to ezcema, so soap free cleansers like Ceptaphil works well for the whole body and face. I use that on my skin too - even to remove make up!!! As for hair - gulp..Yes I do use J&J's shampoo...blackcurrant flavoured.
