Just a Thought

Am just wondering. Having one of those “wondering” days. A friend of mine lives in a shop-lot. I'm not very sure if its because they felt it is more convenient or simply just happened to live in one. She lives with her in-laws. There are her parents-in-law, brother in-law and his wife. She and her hubby has 2 kids of their own. So do the brother-in-law and the wife. Lets assume, there are one car per family, that would make it 3 cars the entire family owns. Where on earth do they park?

Don't get me wrong. I am not adverse towards people living in shop-lots. Its just that I would find it terribly inconvenient as I see strangers walking up and down my walk-way. Not to mention that the parking spaces in front of the shop-lot belongs to the public not to the individual shop-lot owner or owners.

You know what would have been great? I mentioned it to my friend as well. A parking garage nearby their home where they could all park their car without having to worry about theft and all that jazz. Something like the London Garages. She actually didn't think of that at first until I told her and she agrees that it would be the best solution to her parking woes.
