Bet you didn't know...

That my hubby is a gambler. So is my mom, my dad, my in laws, my grandmother. Practically, my entire family are gambling junkies. They are what you would call “small time gamblers” (if there is such a description). Bets are usually below $5. You could say its to past time, for kicks, having eaten and nothing better to do. Gambling has been in my family for years.

My hubby is no exception. His favourite – placing bets on the EPL. Sometimes, he would even ask me what I thought of the odds. Like I would know. Better not ask me. I am usually not accurate. For the past 2 seasons, he has been winning most of the time. Even for the last World Cup, he made some extra cash to spend. Since EPL is on every year, its like round the clock betting. Initially, he didn't want to continue betting this year but changed his mind. According to him, his regular bookie started to make a come-back (he quit as well) and so my hubby joined in the fun.

Things don't look so optimistic somehow. Hubby has been having a run of bad luck lately. In fact, his run of bad luck began since the season started. Just yesterday, he told me that his deficit exceeds 4 digit *gasp*. From the looks of things, he needs a Payday Loan.
