But my MIL, about two years ago, had to have an operation becos her uterus had collaspe. She reckons is due to her not resting after the birth of her two children and she was working (they owned a shop in PNG) and carrying/lifting heavy items. With all these stories or hearsay, I guess it's best to play in safe. You could always start on light exercises like walking whilst pushing the pram, gives the opp to get outdoors (after confinement of course!)Charmainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07594029336646324940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7197107563089153691.post-69788786545480154812009-05-26T14:33:35.206+08:002009-05-26T14:33:35.206+08:00very scary eh? yes...it's true...got to take care...very scary eh? yes...it's true...got to take care cos it happened to my mom. Her uterus did fall and had to be pushed back. The gynae used his fingers and inserted into the Vjj to push it back. *OUCH*mommy to chumsyhttp://chumsyashley.infonoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7197107563089153691.post-39598322062481282202009-05-26T12:19:14.981+08:002009-05-26T12:19:14.981+08:00i think what they're referring to is, prolapse ute...i think what they're referring to is, prolapse uterus. Which does happen, if you live a sedentary life (no exercise) and suddenly start carrying heavy stuff/do alot of manual labour.

My MIL was such a case, she was carrying her daughter around too much.

Just be careful I guess..motthttp://mott.blogsome.comnoreply@blogger.com
